Cancellations of Courses
We put a huge amount of effort into preparing courses, from gathering patients and models to recruiting expert faculty to ensure our courses are the best they can be.
However, sometimes things conspire against us to mean we cannot run a course despite all this setup. Examples may be issues with venues, equipment, provision of models or patients or sometimes a lack of adequate delegate bookings. There is a point at which we 'break even' on a course to cover our set-up costs (advertising, venue, food, faculty travel, etc.). If we don't reach that within 2–3 weeks of a course with no real prospect of reaching break even we will take the difficult decision to cancel a course. As a charity we cannot shoulder a loss on a course.
In the event of course cancellation we will immediately contact and refund all booked delegates. Unfortunately we cannot be held liable for any expenses, such as travel bookings, that booked delegates incur or else we once more incur a loss we cannot shoulder.
